Alpine Snowboard
Who & What
Ages 10 - 17
The Alpine Snowboard program is designed to offer a blend of all-mountain alpine fundamentals and to facilitate their application in freeriding and cross racing. This team spends a large portion of their time in the woods and ripping carves on the trails and participates in all gate training opportunities. Time is spent in the terrain park practicing freestyle skills so that athletes can take their spins and grabs to all-natural mountain features. Alpine Snowboard athletes compete in USASA boardercross., slalom, and giant slalom events and/or IFSA freeride events. There are multiple opportunities to participate in regional events at home (Stowe) and at other mountains in northern Vermont.
Includes GMA membership. Does not include lift tickets/season pass.
Green Mountain Academy strives to make high quality snow sports training accessible for all. Apply for a scholarship today. Scholarship application deadline is 11/1/24.
A current US Ski & Snowboard non-competitor membership is required prior to registration.
