Big Mountain Ski & Snowboard

Who & What
Ages 11 - 18
U12, U15, U18
Big Mountain offers a blend of all-mountain alpine fundamentals and freestyle skills and facilitates their application in freeriding. This team spends a large portion of their time in the woods and ripping carves on the trails. Time is spent in the terrain park learning freestyle skills so that athletes can take their spins and grabs to all-natural mountain features. Competitive Big Mountain groups also focus on strategies for comp days related to the five scoring categories - line choice, technique, control, fluidity, and style & energy. Big Mountain athletes compete in the IFSA circuit. All athletes are strongly encouraged to compete at least once per season. Participation in a Friendly competition counts. There are multiple opportunities to participate in regional events in northern Vermont at Stowe, Jay, Mad River, and Sugarbush.
Includes GMA membership. Does not include lift tickets/season pass.
